Client: The University of Queensland
Project: The Australian Journal of Indigenous Education Redesign
Publication Design

The Australian Journal of Indigenous Education is an academic journal with a rich publishing history of 30 years, dealing with the issues in cross-cultural education. When a new editorial team began work on the journal, they came to Lovehate Design to refresh the journal's design.
Lovehate Design responded by coordinating with an Indigenous artist to create a richly textured, colourful illustration for the front cover, with a colour scheme that is altered every issue. The internal pages have been redesigned to flow in a two-column format in an efficient layout containing elegant typographic elements.
